Adventists in Canada Worship with Catholics, Muslims, Hindus and others
The interfaith observance, which is open to the public, will include prayers and music by followers from more than a half-dozen local religious faiths, including Baha’i, Catholic, Protestant, Seventh-Day Adventist, Hindu, Zorasterian, Islamic and Jewish.
The event will mark the 65th annual World Religion Day, which was initiated by the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of the United States in 1950.
Although it began in the U.S., World Religion Day is celebrated internationally as a unifying event.
