Babylon's Wine: New Beer to commemorate Pope's US Visit

Cape May Brewing Co. is producing a new beer called YOPO, or “You Only Pope Once.” This pope-inspired alcohol will be served with beef from Argentina to commemorate Pope Francis' visit to the U.S.

With rooms going for about $6,000 a night during the Pope's visit and with this new beer, it is no mystery that the merchants of the earth are becoming rich through the abundance of Babylon's influence. This very thing is described in prophecy.

Of Babylon it is written:

"For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies." Revelation 18:3

We clearly see prophecy being fulfilled. The whole world has become drunk on Babylon's wine (alcohol). Political rulers, church leaders and even the merchants or business men.

Yet, where is the true gospel of Jesus Christ? It will be absent from all the human tradition and revelry that will be displayed during this papal visit. It is the pure and elevating truths of the Bible that the people need today. May we stay far away from the wine of Babylon and the polluted wells of this world and may we dring of the living water found in Christ's word that will spring unto eternal life.

"But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." John 4:14
