As its name suggests, it is one of the most glamourous events of the year. And some of the most esteemed names in the world of fashion, film, TV and music turned out on Monday for the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards - some of them gracing the stage to receive the prestigious female-lead prizes. 

Among those who were honored at the event, held at Carnegie Hall in New York, was Caitlyn Jenner, who went all out in a showstopping sapphire blue outfit. The former Olympian wore the stylish frock that featured a mermaid style bottom with aplomb. With her brunette locks in a tousled up do, she smiled enigmatically as she posed for the cameras ahead of accepting her Transgender Champion award.
