NASA Supports Replacing American Flag With New International Planet Earth Flag

Instead, a team of Yale and Harvard scientists wanted to study how beaks appeared as dinosaurs started evolving into birds around 150 million years ago. "Our goal here was to understand the molecular underpinnings of an important evolutionary transition, not to create a 'dino-chicken' simply for the sake of it," Bhart-Anjan S. Bhullar, a paleontologist and developmental biologist at Yale, said in a statement. The study will be published on Tuesday in the journal Evolution.

Are religious colleges at risk if Supreme Court approves same-sex marriage?

Fox News

Same-sex marriage foes are flagging a mostly-missed moment from last week's Supreme Court arguments over the constitutionality of gay marriage, calling it a warning sign for religious freedom. They point to an exchange between Justice Samuel Alito and the administration's top lawyer, Solicitor General Donald Verrilli. Alito asked if, in the event the Supreme Court holds that there is a constitutional right to same-sex marriage, would religious colleges risk losing their tax-exempt status if they continued to advocate for traditional marriage only.

Lord's Day Alliance: Sunday as a Mark of Christian Unity

Sunday as a Mark of Christian Unity

Lord's Day Alliance

Put simply, nothing in the calendar unites us like Sunday. It is a day that changed the world on the very first Sunday and, I would argue, every Sunday after the first. The world was transfigured through a myriad of Sunday’s when Christians gathered in communion and heard the Gospel message. It was on Sunday when Christians learned to love their enemies and care for those in need. It was on Sunday when Christians first met to share a meal of love they called by the Greek word agape (ἀγάπη). It was, is, and shall always be on Sunday when the best hope for humanity shines forth from churches large and small and the “Eucharist after the Eucharist” travels forth from the four walls of the church and into the home and homeless shelter, the playground and the hospital, the wedding feast and the wake.
