President Obama blesses Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood has performed over 50,000,000 abortions. Can God really bless that which goes contrary to His word? The Bible calls an unborn fetus a "child."

"And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to inquire of the LORD." Genesis 25:22.

"But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; andnow drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death." Judges 13:7.

"And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb." Luke 1:41.

"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." Jeremiah 1:5.

Brooklyn Art Exhibit Portrays Kim Kardashian as Jesus

These are the gods of this godless culture we live in. Kim Kardashian is being exalted as Jesus. Celebrities are more popular than the God of the Bible. Young people are idolizing and imitating the lifestyles and character of the demi-gods. It is sad see how far man will push the limits of a loving God. There is a limit to God's grace. When men begin to mock His mercy and ridicule the only means by which people are saved (through His son Jesus) then that is an indication the God's mercy is reaching its limit. God have mercy on us all. Read 2 Peter 3:3-4. -Advent Messenger Commentary

Dead Pope's blood goes on tour here in America

What does the blood of a dead man have to do with our salvation? Is this an attempt to exalt the blood of sinful man above the sinless blood of Christ that washes away our sins through faith in God. This is a publicity stunt to draw people to man-made religion. The more you focus on popes and traditions and superstitions, the less will be your desire and time to study the truth of God's word. Is this is an attempt to exalt men so that they won't want to identify the Antichrist when he is revealed? Is is possible that the way is being paved so that Antichrist will be accepted as our Savior? We need the plain truths from the word of God to go on tour here in America so that people can stop being deceived. -Advent Messenger Commentary

Denmark Now Forcing Pastors to Conduct Gay Weddings—Is America Next?

Denmark Now Forcing Pastors to Conduct Gay Weddings—Is America Next?

Charisma News | June 13, 2014

In what could be a prophetic sign for the church at large, Denmark's parliament is forcing its will on the church.

A new law there now mandates that churches in the nation conduct gay marriages instead of short ceremonial blessings that some pastors have been performing up until now.

The new law does have one saving grace. Clergy can refuse to officiate the actual ceremony. Nevertheless, that bishop, pastor or priest is charged with arranging a replacement venue for the service.

Denmark has sanctioned gay civil unions since 1989. The nation legalized gay marriage in 2012.

New Hip Hop Church Opens with DJ instead of Organ

When we look at worship from the standpoint of God's people, it was holy and reverent. There are no examples of drums, dancing, and rapping inside the temple of God. Those kinds of activities were seen in pagan worship. (Exodus 32:17-19; 1 Kings 18:26-28). The shouting, dancing, jumping, rapping, and the entire club-like atmosphere was never God's plan for worship. Jesus said that we make "the word of God of none effect through your tradition" (Mark 7:13). The hip-hop music comes from the traditional African Congo drum beats. This is what we see in Israel's apostasy when they came out of Egypt, Africa (Exo. 32:17-19). In true worship, the priests (1 Chronicles 16:5-6) used sacred instruments. David played the harp, a slow, melodious, heavenly stringed instrument to drive away evil spirits (1 Samuel 16:23). Divine worship is sadly being replaced today with unholy, unconsecrated rhythms that come from pagan traditions. -Advent Messenger Commentary

Pope Francis assures atheists: You don’t have to believe in God to go to heaven

Pope Francis claims that by following your "own" conscience, regardless if you believe in God or not, you will be saved and go to heaven. Yet the human conscience is not a sufficient guide to determine what is right or wrong. It is not the final, ethical authority for determining our human conduct because it is easily influenced by our surroundings. The reason why the world is in the mess that it is in is because men and women are following their own conscience. Pope Francis solution is a human opinion that makes man the final authority for determining spiritual truths. It is only the word of God that is the final authority in determining what we must do. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." 2 Timothy 3:16. Our conscience must be held captive to the word of God. -Advent Messenger Commentary

Joel Osteen praises Pope Francis

These mega church pastors are being used to bring the world back to Rome. After participating in a papal mass, in person, with Pope Francis, Joel Osteen claims that he was "divinely inspired." How can anyone claim "divine inspiration" when they embark down the road to Rome and apostatize their faith with man-made inventions, such as the papal mass? Unlike Martin Luther, who was truly "divinely inspired," actually felt remorse and guilt for ever going to Rome. Luther believed that those ceremonial rituals in Rome were corrupting the true faith of the gospel. Luther was inspired by the Holy Spirit with the words, "The just shall live by faith." He left Rome with a true "divine inspiration" and began to write his 95 Thesis exposing all the abominations of man-made traditions. May God help us to also receive this "divine inspiration." -Advent Messenger Commentary

Sunday Rest: Mormons say yes

Here we see how all the churches, including the Mormon Church, would like to see a return to the days in American history when Sunday laws compelled all the classes to rest on Sunday. Aside from defending a man-made institution [Sunday] for which there is no scriptural authority, the Mormon church fails to highlight the principles of religious liberty. It is incompatible to defend Sunday laws and religious liberty at the same time. Instead of drinking from the pure word of God, many churches are drinking from the wine of Babylon. (Rev. 17:1-5). Babylon represents all the religious institution that have fallen away from the truth. -Advent Messenger Commentary
Sunday Rest: Mormons say yes

We cannot save Ourselves

St. Helena Star | May 12, 2014

Keeping the Sabbath day holy was at one time important to most of us in this country, and we demonstrated that belief by not shopping, being entertained or doing other things that might distract us from worship and serving others on that day. Restaurants and shopping centers were closed. And schools and other community programs did all they could to avoid conflict with activities on Sunday that might conflict with church and family time. How that condition has changed over the last half century.

Church and local government unite to promote Sunday

The churches are partnering up with local government to promote their un-Biblical traditions through politics. They call Sunday the fourth commandment when the truth is that God's word says, "But the seventh day [Saturday] is the sabbath of the LORD thy God." Exo. 20:10. Politicians are lining up with church officials trying to "help" society. What they don't know is that in reality they are opening the door that will bring in the greatest spiritual crisis this world has ever seen.
