Six Philadelphia narcotics officers arrested for robbing dealers

These kinds of situations happen more often than we want to acknowledge. "And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter." Isa. 59:14. If left uncontrolled without any restraints, law enforcement is in danger of becoming just as corrupt as the criminals they are suppose to be going after. This news report is describing the corruption of just "one" city. There are over 20,000 cities and municipalities in the United States alone. God only knows how wide-spread this situation really is. But it's part of the signs of the times that we are in the last days. -Advent Messenger Commentary

Pope Francis Becomes First Pope To Visit A Pentecostal Church In Outreach To Evangelicals

“Rome never changes” says the book Last Day Events p. 130. The Evangelic Protestants have no idea what they are getting into. This is the same kind of hug that was given to Christ the day that he was betrayed. Notice the warning found in the book The Great Controversy, p. 581: "God’s Word has given warning of the impending danger; let this be unheeded, and the Protestant world will learn what the purposes of Rome really are, only when it is too late to escape the snare. She is silently growing into power. Her doctrines are exerting their influence in legislative halls, in the churches, and in the hearts of men. She is piling up her lofty and massive structures, in the secret recesses of which her former persecutions will be repeated. Stealthily and unsuspectedly she is strengthening her forces to further her own ends when the time shall come for her to strike." -Advent Messenger Commentary
